When in life people do not understand your destiny or your visions and missions, they try to bring you unto their level of understanding. Some people may want to advise you to cut it short while others will tell you to relinquish that difficult dream; others will try to set you up to be eliminated. Why do they keep misunderstanding him even after all they have read? The word of God eventually becomes of no effect because of their stubbornness. It is important to know that the first step to hearing from God is clearing your mind of all forms of philosophy. They didn’t understand so they sought for a way to reject the reality and set Jesus up for arrest. Dazzling in ignorance and wanting to tempt Jesus, they asked even a very laughable question. Mathew 22:16-17~They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not?”.
Jesus may be like; “hey! we are talking about the kingdom of God and you are talking about the kingdom of Rome. how do they even co-relate? Why do you tempt me?
If you understand your direction in life, it is easy to discover when people want to tempt you. They might come up with all manner of unnecessary arguments and try to get you involved. That is why the best of lawyers will always ask questions that you cannot logically relate to your case no matter how you think. They can also bring pleasure, telling you things like “smoking is not bad, virginity is stupidity”. Taking away the consciousness of good moral conduct from you. You may have met people who bring you so low to reason at their comfortable level, this is how to discharge them. What we do is a thing of the spirits that is why there is healing and deliverance and casting out of demonic spirits as we worship. We are not just singing to what we cannot see or feel. The kingdom of God does not have physical territory. It is not meant to attack governments and political powers of the earth. It’s territories are in the hearts of men. It comes alive and then we prophesy and speak in diverse tongues and we lay hands upon the sick and we cast out demons.
This is not a mental thing, it is a place of solace and when a greater population of hearts housing this kingdom is concentrated in a geographical area, we could say there is heaven on earth.
Emancipate yourself from carnal and religious mentality and love God with open heart and you will find this solace in His kingdom.
