Lamentations 3:37-who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?

We! a generation of fear and a generation of do as you like – having wandered in ignorance and utmost desire to satisfy our flesh – on getting to know a part of God wonder if we still have enough time to achieve what God called us to achieve.

There is even a type that is common in Africa where an uncle or aunt or even a parent will swear over someone’s life that they will not make it. Have you not also seen in sports and schools people who are so daft that the coach/teacher had written them off any form of success?

There is an authority that we may need to recognize even as humans. Just the way you grow up to meet authorities and laws and constitutions, that is exactly how it is in the spiritual realm. It is quite challenging to live among people who do not operate in the same spiritual authority as you do because if you are not yet rooted in God, you might be made to start thinking of Christianity as a mere religion.

There is also a scenario that exists where Satan is fully in charge of a territory and nothing works out even for the righteous. Truly, iniquity will increase and consequently, the love and concern and the desire of people to do good will wax cold…Mathew 24:12.

But now a question is raised; who is he that says and it comes to pass, when the Lord has not commanded it? The answer is not you, not your teacher or your coach, not your parents or your uncles/aunts, not your guilt or your fear, not even the devil.

We should know how powerful this is. Samuel, David, Gideon, Joshua, among other young sensations of God were called at there young ages but Moses and Abraham were called while they have come of age.

Our destinies only report to what our mindsets report to. In the realm of the spirit, there is hierarchy with Jesus sitting in the highest authority. We who worship on His throne are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, kings, a holy nation and nothing can take away his love from us. This is the knowledge that the Devil does not want you to have, so he flaunts lusts of all kinds just to lure you into accepting to operate under his authority. Mathew 4:8-9 Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. All this i will give You, he said, if you will fall down and worship me.

Power is highly attached to holiness but the children of the Lord are at war with their flesh. Good news still remains that not even your flesh can take away the love God has for you. We go to God in the name of Jesus who came into this world and lived without sin so as to carry all our sins into hell that while he broke the power of hell on the third day, he led captivity captives and release power unto us.

If you know this, Satan cannot declare a thing upon your head, If you know this no man can declare evil upon your head. For God to approve any evil declared upon you, you are not really serving under his authority.

Open your eyes and behold the ways of the Lord and your powers will get to work for you. Do not just pray without understanding, pray in thanksgiving to Jesus for all what he has done for us. Grave has no claim on us, Satan has no claim on us, your past mistakes have no claim on you, your predicaments have no claim on you. God has good plans for us to give us an expected end.
