Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Since we live the life of Jesus, there has been a trap which we are able to overcome.
This is a knowledge that keeps us on our feet whenever the accuser of brethren comes accusing us.
We are not living the life that is liable to a written code of conduct, therefore wickedness of the devil can no longer take it’s toll on us.
Paul preached to the Jews in most Jewish synagogues across cities; some Jews became saved but were still afraid of the others who might take a wicked action against them. Hence, they remained locked into sin through the law.
In the olden African tradition, some women who gave birth to twins hid one of the babies in the forest to save their babies from wicked tradition that commands killing of twins.
Some religion would condemn the killing of someone who has blasphemed the prophet but would dare not say it out for fear of the law.
How could it be; knowing that the things I do are wickedness and injustice, and I just cannot stop doing them? Romans 7:22-23~For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.
v24-25~What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
What makes you a Christian? The codes which are barely expressed due to fear of the wickedness brought about by the law have found full expression in us.
This is the highest level of freedom. Jesus has fought the battle against wickedness and death; came out victoriously against the gates of hell and gifts were released to us.
Meditation
I am no longer a slave to sin, I have found life through the death of Christ Jesus on the cross. Therefore, as the Spirit which God breathed unto me desires, so shall I live: Even when I fall, the blood of Jesus cleanses me.
All I see is grace, all I see is kindness, all I see is freedom, all I see is love. I commune intimately with the holy spirit, and what a merciful spirit it is.
