Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Romans 4:18-22~Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.”
Maybe, you are looking for what righteousness means and have not found.
Sometimes we tend to forget or rather not know what we must do as believers to attain righteousness.
Do not think there can be more than just believing in God and having faith in His promises.
We are not called to work for our righteousness; we only need to work for our faith. Our righteousness has been credited to us through the death of Jesus on the cross. Romans 4:25~He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
In difficult times, keep believing! When you face rejection, keep trusting God! When you are in the middle of no where, do not stop having faith!
Give glory to God in all things no matter the outcome. These are not what God is going to help us do. These are the ways that has been made available to us to attain righteousness.
Meditation
My righteousness comes through my believe and trust in Christ Jesus, in his death and resurrection; through which I am saved. Therefore, I will have faith in God and give Him all the glory both in good seasons and in bad seasons.
