There is no limit to the distance you can travel. You can get to the end of the world only if time and speed permits you.
You can venture into any form of experience and behavior .
Where is the line which God has drawn? Our God is a jealous God. He sits on the throne and He is God alone.
No man, whatsoever, should assume the responsibility of God or somehow try to equate himself to God.
You can jealously guide your own status and achievements as a man but surely, your life comes to an end the moment you parade yourself as a god. God is so jealous to share His status with a man.
When you have an opportunity to do anything in life, acknowledge God. Give Him the praise that is due to Him.
One of the mistakes we make is thinking that some weird wealthy men and politicians do not acknowledge God in their dealings.
King Herod may have been one of the weirdest kings of the bible. He beheaded John the Baptist, killed James the brother of John and arrested Peter.
He had for long lost the directions of the deity which his kingship was ordained. Everything he did was because he wanted to please men. Acts 12:2-3~He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword. When he saw that this met with approval among the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also.
He also beheaded John the Baptist because he wanted to please Herodias and her daughter.
In-spite of all these, God did not kill him until the day he assumed the place of God.
Acts 12:21-23~On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people.
They shouted, “This is the voice of a god, not of a man.” Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.
In our lives, we should not forget to return all the glory to God. In everything we do, we are obliged to give praise to the Lord.
When you get that job, give thanks to God. When you get promoted in your place of work, give thanks to God. When you wake up in the morning, give thanks to God.
