Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! From the beginning of the chapter, Jesus assured that there will be some of us which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. We may not have considered the importance of this saying in our pursuance of peace.
A thirst of his greatness is enough to keep us in his presence but we will firstly, need to recognize him. Sometimes he revels himself to us but the activities of our minds may block our eyes from seeing him.
Jesus had taken Peter, and James and John to a secluded entity. His plan was to be transfigured in their presence. Peter was the most curious when he saw Elias and Moses appeared to commune with Jesus. And then he said to Jesus it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses and one for Elias~Mark 9:5. This is an act of worship. Peter eventually desired to remain in this place of mystery. He saw the power of God and became so peaceful in his soul that he wanted to remain there. I tell you, the presence of God is an addictive entity.
After a moment of turmoil that got them frightened, Moses and Elias were gone and the bible says: Mark 9:8~And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.
In the pursuit of peace, you do not need to look anywhere else. The world is so troubled that there is no limit to the severity of problems which we can encounter. But a point of relieve will be the point when we have looked and all we can see is Jesus.
You may have been going through some disturbing moments of life when it is difficult to consider seeing Jesus. Learn to always detach yourself into a secluded entity, and pray without struggle.
Learn to master the act of the secret place. Build your inner spirit through moments of secluded communion with Jesus. In no time, you shall see the kingdom of God and the power of God in your life.
The kingdom of God and it’s power manifests itself as righteousness and peace. Romans 14:17-20~For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.
And these shall we receive in abundance every day of our lives.
