In every organization, be it a church, a school, or a company, there are always going to be people who will neither learn nor work.

They are always ready to dish out confusion at any point in time.

They do works which are not sent them. They do their opinions other than the subject matter of the organization.

They hate work and they cannot tarry in prayers. They will always run home to eat and come back to join a fasting group.

These persons, are not concerned about the scripture and the good works of the holy spirit.

Though they follow for a long time, they will never acknowledge the value of the assembly.

Judas Iscariot was a perfect example of these set of people. They are people who are vulnerable and easily possessed by Satan.

Although, he was a witness to the signs and teachings of Jesus, Judas Iscariot never subscribed to it. He was never interested for he was a thief.

Anytime they embark on a mission, it is usually to destroy the good works of the assembly.

This sermon is not to for you to start looking for them in your organizations, but to check if you have these attributes within you and draw a line today.

Believers were gathered in Antioch – and among the cities of the uncircumcised – by the help of the holy spirit through the hard sufferings and risks of the apostles. Some who were stoned and some who were put to sword.

Acts 15:25-26~So we all agreed to choose some men and send them to you with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul—men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There came visitors from Judea – who were not sent and could not even tarry in prayers – to Antioch with a message that the gentiles must be circumcised before they are saved.

When the case arrived Jerusalem, Peter recounted his vision and how holy spirit fell upon the gentiles as he spoke in the house of Cornelius.

Paul told of his experience – in Lystra and Derbe and Iconium – how the Lord had worked mightly among the gentiles.

The people who always cause these confusions do not have any kind of encounter. They are not believers neither are they interested.

And Peter with the elders in Jerusalem sent a letter to Antioch: Acts 15:28-29~It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements:

You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.

v 31~The people read it and were glad for its encouraging message.

Receieve grace to be interested. Receive grace to tarry. Receive grace for an encounter. In the name of Jesus.
