Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!I have wondered for so long until now why some things remain mysteries to people. The word of God cannot thrive in a heart where wickedness abound.
It is also surprising to know that the chief cause of wickedness is religion. Religious people are those who know more than they should and do more than they should.
They run ahead of God. They know almost everything so you do not need to teach them. They are the ones that enforce the laws of religion and exert its consequences on defaulters. They are hypocrites.
Jesus captured what it is like to be religious when he talked about Pharisees elevating the traditions of men (washing of hand before eating) over the word of God. Mark 7:15~Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them. 21-22~For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. In other words, there are occurrences even more important than mere washing of hand that are not given adequate attention to by the leaders of the tradition.
The Pharisees were all around Jesus bringing the sick and the demon possessed to him but on few occasions when Jesus interacted with the gentiles, he found a new dimension of kingdom people. First was the Roman centurion whose servant was sick and second was the Greek woman whose daughter was demon possessed. Mathew 8:10-12~When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
On these occasions, Jesus did not have to visit their homes for the miracle to happen; for he considered them as dogs who are not allowed to eat of the children’s meat. Their faith was the only motivator of the miracles. But Jesus would follow Jairus to his house to raise his dead daughter because Jairus was a synagogue ruler. The messiah had come only for the lost sheep of Israel. So why give the children’s food to the dogs?
The Jews had the full meat but they abused it. The gentiles got the crumbs and where filled even with the holy spirit. Why God shows you a little part of His glory is because he wants to activate your hunger for him. The bible maintains that we know in part and we prophesy in part. And so, some things will remain mysteries because God wants you to keep searching.
Common, do not give up on the word of God. It is that same power that raised Jesus from dead. It is the power that causes healing. It is the power that brings every visible thing into existence. Do not be limited by any sense of perfection. For whoever is perfect all by himself has deprived himself of the full glory of God.
Activate your hunger for God and do not be confused. Romans 8:38-39~The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
