Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!A lot of people easily get hurt by characters displayed by others. In most cases, it lingers and creates divide among their respective loyalists. This happens in the body of Christ.
I have come across people who – despite all their understanding of the gospel – fall into the trap of the unforgiving spirit. Well, you may be so bitter about something and it is completely normal. It is normal because, for you to understand and appreciate the effect of salvation, you should be able to spot the difference in your progress when in bitterness and when out of bitterness.
Today’s teaching trends have so much made the power of Christ unto salvation a thing of theology. It becomes almost impracticable for people to feel it.
There is little to work and intellect than there is to grace. Yes, there is need to work, but the grace of God is more sufficient to you than even your ability to understand it. Ephesians 2:8-10~For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
A lot of human contests and analytics has made salvation to inculcate conditions not set by God. We tend to carry our problems around with us despite claiming to have submitted them to God. And when someone eventually looks at you, the first thing that shines is your problem.
Sometimes we are tempted to fake it by putting on a smile and sometimes we just cannot fake it. This is an occurrence in the body of Christ.
Satan will frequently point out the dangers of your situation to you just to create worries for you. He will keep reminding you of major actors who brought about your current situation to keep you bitter. And when you are worried and bitter, the teachings of God will not make sense to you. Luke 8:14~And the seed which fell among the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked by worries, riches, and pleasures of this life, and they bring no fruit to maturity.
Salvation is for the soul and there is so much freedom accompanied with it. It goes with contentment. It is so much beyond your ability to pray. It is more of your ability to obey and it is practicable.
There are also occasions of envy and jealousy. There has been a lot of teachings on jealousy and envy in the body of Christ. However, it has become so difficult to get it working in the lives of people. Sometimes some people make efforts to ensure everybody fails because they failed or try to get people to hate someone because they do not like that person. This also happens in the body of Christ.
Ecclesiastes 4:4~ Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from a man’s envy of his neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind. The attitude of envy and jealousy cannot be killed by a mere theological analysis. Submitting to God encompasses a deep insight on the tactics of the devil. All the devil wants is to create imbalance in your soul that will try to lure you into considering the theological analytics pertaining the body of Christ.
Theology in all its forms and ramifications cannot bring you salvation. With theology, you can only envisage salvation but cannot test it until you participate in it. Get into the humble consciousness of God through obedience, learn of the devices of the devil in order to deal with worries and other products of self.
In conclusion, you can only be able to get the fullness of God if you can give the fullness of you. It is a matter of consecration not analogy. Salvation is an area of success and endless beauties. Your breath and your body functions better in this area. Every good thing you ever dreamed in life comes into fruition in a place of salvation. It is an area free from worries, jealousy, envy, wickedness, suspicion, flattery, intimidation. It is an area of confidence.
May God give us deep insights to see the freedom associated with salvation.
