Have you ever wondered why Jesus was referred to as ‘peace that surpasses all understandings’?

This is because, when Jesus is alive in your life, storms of life will become invisible to you.

Everything will be rested on Him. All our pains and burden, our regrets and shortcomings, both cancer and lack will be His burden.

This is quite insane but true. Receiving the life of Jesus comes with a deep breathe of peace and understanding.

Job 32:8~But there is a spirit in man: and the breath of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

It is therefore, our obligation to strive for the recognition of this peace if by error we have not recognized it.

You may need to look at your predicaments right now. Make a count of them and hand them over to Jesus.

You have neither been able to sleep nor eat because of a concern. It keeps weighing you down and it is also capable of taking away your life. Give it to God and find peace.

Soldiers of Rome and the centurion who were conveying Paul – a prisoner – among other prisoners to Rome encountered great storm for more than two weeks in the middle of the sea.

With great darkness that seemed the day was not forth coming. In all these turmoil, Paul became their source of encouragement.

Both sailors and passengers could neither sleep nor eat. But at this time, Paul was filled with peace.

Acts 27:33-34~Just before dawn Paul urged them all to eat. “For the last fourteen days,” he said, “you have been in constant suspense and have gone without food—you haven’t eaten anything. Now I urge you to take some food. You need it to survive. Not one of you will lose a single hair from his head.

I do not know what you are going through right now. I do not know the sickness and the financial situation that is preventing you from sleeping and eating. But I know of a deep freedom which is found in Christ Jesus.

May peace of the Lord be your eternal portion, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
