It is the way of the Lord to allow us exhaust all that which we feel we can depend on.
Everything you have in this world – be it life, urge or motivation – will surely dissipate with time.
It is a good idea to try to utilize them in the highest possible way because, through that our limits are declared and God’s glory is made manifest in its fullest.
At the limits of your power, God’s hand will never hesitate to take over. God will allow you to exercise all humanly possible means until they are exhausted.
This is also a strong basis of faith. For Abraham and Sarah had waited all through their youthful stage without a child.
But, at a point where all their efforts had long been concluded and forgotten, God gave them Isaac. This was paramount in the manner which Abraham’s faith in God had grown. For if God could give them a child at old age, there is nothing He cannot do.
And so Abraham could be ready to sacrifice Isaac.
Sometimes in our lives, we pray continuously over a lingering challenge. The worst part of this experience is that it is hard to decide not to worry about the challenge.
At a point when all hopes are dashed, God will surface with a solution. God is not doing this because He wants you to suffer, rather, He is interested in increasing your faith in Him.
This is the most important thing because without faith, one cannot please God.
If you are opportune to come across men and women who have had a long walk with God, all they could say is: “as long as you have handed it over to God, find peace”. This is a statement of assurance.
If God does not answer that prayer, just know that you do not need it.
Paul faced strong difficulty in convincing the Jews through the scripture that Jesus was the messiah.
It had to be the scripture because every other sign had been exhausted, so he argued tirelessly. Sometimes he was beaten and sometimes he was stoned.
The day he found rest, the bible says; Acts 19:9~…So Paul left them.
He took some disciples and went to another location where they discussed the word of God for two years. And God did extra ordinary miracles with him that even handkerchiefs and aprons he touched were taken to the sick and demon possessed for healing.
Something even more remarkable was that the Jews who tried to replicate his miracles using the name of Jesus (whom Paul preach) to cast out demons were beating and stripped by the demon possessed.
The Jews became afraid and confessed their believe in Jesus.
Acts 19:19-20~ A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.
I do not know what you are asking God today, but I am sure He has heard you. May you receive grace to find peace.
