Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! It is good to know that one thing about peace is that you expect absolutely nothing from people whom you have helped.
Why you helped them is generally because at that point, all what they needed were in your possession. God placed them in your hand.
Sometimes these things are not material things but an expanded heart that is always willing to accommodate a troubled soul.
A shoulder that is always ready for people to cry on. A bank that would rather give away its little just to see another accomplished.
God is the giver of this level of peace. As stupid as it appears in the sight of the world, it is a level of uncompromising dependent on God.
You must understand that the people you helped may not be blessed with such grace as you display and so they remain in need all the time and you remain a giver all the time.
There is almost nothing which you can get from them at any point of your breathe. They will only come around you when your breathe is gone and speak about how good a person you are. It did not start today.
Acts 9:36-37~In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas); she was always doing good and helping the poor. About that time she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room.
…39~Peter went with them, and when he arrived he was taken upstairs to the room. All the widows stood around him, crying and showing him the robes and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them.
Tabitha was a disciple with a call to help the poor. This she realized in her life time and God had expanded her heart in-order to meet up with this task.
I tell you, the most valuable peace which you can have in this world is attributing reasons for all things to God. Some people try to fake it and they will say; ‘I am doing this because of God’ and after a while they stop. Did they stop because of God too?
You should not stop being good. Galatians 6:9~And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
And when Peter had prayed, he called her name and told her to wake up. And immediately, Tabitha opened her eyes and stood up.
May we receive the grace for peace through the attribution of reasons to God. May we not grow tired of the work of God. May we not lose hope of our destiny in Christ.
