We may have talked much about peace, little did we know that there can be more in constraints than in pursuit. Everything comes around and goes and we are only left to imagine and miss them.
Everything you touch must surely die whether you make maximum use of it or not. What then can we say is the benefit of living if not for our peace.
We acquire a lot of skills and a lot of knowledge only for our troubles to increase. On daily basis we keep stressing out and pouring out knowledge; have we ever considered love? Apostle Paul was only addressing Christians about the need to love one another and place love above knowledge because while love builds, knowledge only puffs up.
The cohesion you need to orchestrate peace is built by love. Instead of criticizing people for eating food offered to idol? Love them anyway. Instead of gossiping about that woman who committed adultery? Love her anyway. Why slander that couple who got divorced? Love them anyway.
Shall our knowledge keep puffing up all the time even at the expense of love and peace? How have we found peace in reproach?
Meditation
Lord Jesus, I purge out the distress associated with blame, gossip, slander, work and other activities. I choose that my heart be completely settled with clear intension to love. I choose to travail just for righteousness. Please keep on keeping me at my feet. Amen
