Why do we need to clear ourselves from the daily accusations of men? Of what importance is the need to prove them wrong who have decided to pull down your reputation?

Life can be simpler with great submissions like that which Apostle Paul keeps making even to us who are believers. There is never going to be a time when the Church is devoid of loud talkers and slanderers.

As much as we have been advised to pray more than we talk and to find peace in silence more than we criticize, we are also to learn how not to be swayed by the constant devil inspired assumptions of the some people.

God is the only judge and He is going to reveal all our intensions and apportion praise to us as appropriate.

You might want to keep your mind at whatever attitude or even addiction that always keeps you down and depressed but whatever antics the devil has employed to judge you is far from the Lord’s parameter of justice.

Paul says, ‘My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.~1 Corinthians 4 : 4’.

In other words, what makes you innocent is different from the parameters of justice which you have weaved around yourself. And I ask, when will you stop judging yourself? Jesus has done enough for you.

Take off those heavy guilt around your neck! push back the words of the slanderers. Constantly encourage yourself in the power of the holy ghost.

Meditation

I am empowered; not by my own attributes or by my own diligence, but by the holy ghost and the riches of wisdom in Christ Jesus through which my judgment will come.
